Done for you
We find the one song, find the right doors, and send it properly. Then we show you exactly who received it.
Most artists send the wrong song to the wrong person in the wrong format, and never find out which of the three lost them. Nobody writes back to explain. This is the fix.
The song you want to promote and the song radio will actually take are often not the same one. That conversation is the most valuable part of this and it happens before anything is sent.
Not every station. The right ones: the stations that programme your sound, that are accepting right now, and whose posted rules your record can actually meet. All 1363 doors in the registry were opened and read by hand off each station's own page.
One message per station, written from that station's own rules, with the file in the format that station asks for. Some want a WAV. Some refuse links. Some want it addressed to a specific show rather than the building. It goes from a desk music directors have seen before.
You get the list of exactly who received it, when, and what each one was told. No vague reporting, no percentages. Names and dates.
We guarantee
Your record reaches the right person, in the right format, with the right ask, at every station on your list. And you get proof of it.
We will never
Pay a station to play you, or tell you we can make them. Nobody can promise airplay. Anyone who does is selling you something other than radio.
That second box is the reason to trust the first one. A music director decides what goes on air, and no amount of money changes that at the stations we work with. Most of them are non-commercial and are barred by law from selling airtime at all.
Eight hours you do not have, and four months of door checking you would never do. That is the whole product, and it is why this is worth more than it costs today.
Every station on your list is a door we opened by hand and confirmed is accepting. Every message is written from that station's own posted rules. And you get the names and the dates of everyone who received it, not a percentage.
One release, one price, no subscription. Payment is taken when you submit and the campaign starts the same day.
Check your email for the next step. If nothing arrives within the hour, write to deshawn@getinrotation.com and we will pick it up from there.
Your campaign is open. We are listening to the record now and choosing the stations that fit it.
Your station list and the plan for the release arrive by email within two business days, before anything is sent. Nothing goes out until you have seen it.
When payment is taken
At order. Payment is taken when you submit the form and the campaign begins the same day. Your station list and the plan still arrive by email before a single submission goes out, so you see where your record is going before anyone receives it, and that is the moment to email if something needs changing. Every refund below is one we offer rather than one you ask for.
If we do not think radio is right for the record
Full refund, offered by us. Sometimes the honest answer is that a song is not ready, or that no station on the list programmes it. When that is the answer you get it in writing along with what to fix, and the payment comes back automatically. You do not have to ask.
After the submissions have gone out
No refund, because the work is done and cannot be undone. What you are buying is the sending, not the outcome, and by that point every station on your list has received your record and you have the list of who and when.
Never a condition of anything
A station passing on your record is not a failure of the service and never triggers a refund, because no one can promise a music director anything. That is stated at the top of this page for the same reason it is stated here.
Questions before you buy, or anything at all afterwards: deshawn@getinrotation.com. It reaches a person, and it is the same address that replies about your campaign. Rotation is based in Atlanta, Georgia.
No, and neither can anybody else. A music director decides. What we can do is make sure your record gets in front of the right one, in the format they asked for, with the information they need. That is the part most artists get wrong and it is the part that is actually in anyone's control.
You should, and the option never goes away. The registry, the rules, the shows and the national programmes stay on this site at no charge. The campaign is for artists who would rather not spend eight hours on it, and who want the people who read all 1363 doors choosing which ones fit the record.
However many genuinely fit. For a hip-hop record with a clean edit that is usually twenty to thirty. For something narrower it may be fewer, and the list is never padded to look impressive. You get the full station list by email before a single submission goes out.
We will tell you, and we will tell you what to fix. The most common blockers are no clean edit, a file that is not broadcast quality, and no working link a director can open. Run it through the song check first; it takes thirty seconds and your audio never leaves your device.
Never, and they never will. No station has paid for its place in the registry and no station ever can. That is the reason the list can be trusted.
