Posted rules / notesNo submission route posted anywhere I could open. The station is run out of the Monroe County Technical Center by the Monroe County Board of Education. Its own domain, [link on your sheet], does not resolve (DNS failure), and the school district's WHFI page carries the heading and nothing else about the station. The only contact on record is the licensee mailing address, [address on your sheet], Union,, plus the technical school's switchboard, [phone on your sheet], listed on the district page. Neither is offered by the station as a way to send music, so neither is recorded as a door.

What to send WHFI

  1. WHFI publishes a submission route rather than a general inbox. Follow it exactly; the route is the first thing they check.
  2. Send the clean edit if you have one. WHFI is FCC-bound during the day like nearly every station on this list, and a clean version simply gets played more often.
  3. WAV is safest, 320 kbps MP3 is the floor. Anything below that gets noticed quickly on a broadcast chain.
  4. Then wait. Give it about two weeks, send one polite follow-up, and let it go after that. Music directors remember the artists who were easy to deal with.

Radio is the free half, and it stays that way. Every station here is free to reach and no station ever pays to be listed. The Doors is the other half: 100 verified places that are not radio, sync libraries, music supervisors, festivals, contests, live sessions and the music press, 43 of which can actually pay an artist. It also lists the 162 we opened and refused, with the reason each one failed, because most lists of this kind are stale and the rejections are the part nobody else will show you. $9.99, the 2026 Q3 edition →
