The Capstone is accepting submissions from independent artists right now. It's a college station in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and it plays indie, hip-hop. This page is what we've verified about how WVUA takes music from independent artists; the actual submission contact is on your Rotation sheet.
Send a file, not a link. A WAV or 320 kbps MP3 attached (or a download link that opens the file directly). Music directors can't add a Spotify link to a playlist.
Have a clean edit ready. Most college and community stations are FCC-bound during the day; if there's no clean version, many won't play it at all.
Name the file so it can be found later: Artist - Song Title (Clean).
Include one page, not an EPK: who you are, where you're from, what the record is, one link, one contact.
Send it the way this station asks (below). If they name a show, send to the show. Follow up once, about two weeks later, and then let it go.
