ROTATIONWhere to send your musicThe Dial

Rotation · September 2026

Is Rotation legit?

Short answer: yes, and here is how to check instead of taking my word for it. I am DeShawn Marks, an independent artist in Atlanta. I built this because I could not find a straight list of radio stations that actually take music from people like me.

The fastest way to check, in thirty seconds

Pick any station on the Dial. Read the rule printed on its page, then open the station's own website and find the same rule. All 1363 stations here were read off the station's own page by hand. If a rule does not match, tell me and I will fix it that day. A wrong rule is worse to me than no rule.

Stations change staff every semester and pages move, so the registry will be wrong somewhere today. Anything marked "research" means I found the station and not the door, and it says so rather than guess. One person checks all of this, which is why it is slow and why nobody here has an incentive to inflate a number.

What Rotation never does

The things a scam would not publish

The failures are the part that proves the work. 813 stations have been checked and rejected with the reason, mostly satellite repeaters carrying somebody else's feed. 569 stations on the list have no submission door we could find, and are marked that way so you do not waste a send. In the non-radio research, 162 candidates were opened and refused with the reason each one failed, including well-known platforms still selling access to routes that had already closed.

What costs money, exactly

The radio side is free and stays free: the finder, every station page, the show listings, the readiness checker and the submission email builder. Your email opens your sheet. No account, no card.

Four things are paid and none of them are radio access. Two are research reports, at $9.99 and $19. One is a release planner at $49. One is a service at $599 where I send your record to your matched stations by hand and tell you exactly who received it and when. That is my time, not access, and it buys you nothing on the free side you could not already have.

Who I am

DeShawn Marks, Atlanta. Real name, one city, one person. Reply to any email I send and it reaches me. If something here is wrong, saying so costs you nothing and fixing it is the whole job.

Every door is on your sheet.

Pick your sound and region on Rotation and each of these stations shows its real submission contact and the exact rules it posts: clean edit, WAV, form or mail. Checked by hand and kept current. No station here paid to be listed.
